This Journey looks at the food print of the food we eat. It goes beyond a simple ‘buy organic’ message and encourages the girls to look at things like how far the food in our shops (or its ingredients) has traveled, how well the workers all along the production line are treated, and the problem of hunger, both local and overseas.
As part of their Sow What Journey, a SEGS Senior Troop put together this recipe booklet from (mainly) locally sourced ingredients.
